Anne Elings, the crop modeller, physiologist of Wageningen UR from the Netherlands had visited Hulu Yam green house farming together with Luuk and Monica.
Elings comments, the green house of Mr Choo Kok Hing built by the Jabatan Pertanian is too hot for crops and facilities is not enough.
The design of green house by Elings and Luuk in a join project with Jabatan Pertanian in Serdang, has an opening on top of the roof which allows hot air to discharge. The temperature differences between in and out of the green house are 1 degree.
Luuk suggest Choo to grow chilli and reconstruct his green house to reduce temperature.
Encik Ahmad Kamal of The Consumers Association of Penang, who is also the adviser of Hulu Yam Fresh Sdn Bhd also in Hulu Yam Veggie Park to join the Netherlands experts.
